Brittany Cone's Bio Cary, Barrington, Illinois

I wanted to share a bit of my past with you.

After graduating from high school in 1997, I decided to follow in my fathers footsteps and go to Southern Illinois University. I went for a year, but when I was there I found myself doing every one's hair! I then decided that I would quit college and go to beauty school at HASAKNA Institute of Hair Design. I graduated from there in early 2000, and started working my way up the ladder. I found myself building a wonderful clientele at Life Spa, in Lifetime Fitness, in Algonquin, Illinois. I then had to make a career change to further my education and horizons and went to work for the next 6 years at Ben E Salon, in Barrington, Illinois. When I reached the plateau there, I decided to go to work for one of my girlfriends in Cary, Illinois, at a salon named Dolce Day Spa. After 2 years working there as the education director, and training to be a certified hair color educator for Aveda, I decided it would be best to go out on my own. I have extensive knowledge in color and pride myself in the way I create "natural looking highlights" as well as creative color. I cut mostly dry, because I believe it is the only way to actually see the weight in a haircut. Bangs don't lay the same when they are dry, as they do when they are wet!! I LOVE what I do and I think it shows in every look I do. I take pride in a client walking out feeling as good as they look. It makes my day......hense...DAYMAKER is me to you, and you to me!
